April 2022 E-Newsletter

Welcome to the April newsletter of the Community Insight Team here at DCF.

This month we have a spotlight on support and social groups for men across Devon, as well as the usual volunteer and job opportunities, training and events, and grants. We also have a number of things to update you on:

Does your community group deliver positive activities for young people and/or adults? Are you in need of funding? Take a look at our OPCC Community Grants. Your project doesn’t have to be specifically drugs-focused, but if you work with communities that might otherwise be at risk of being involved with illegal drugs activities and your project diverts them away from this, then definitely take a look.

Autism Acceptance Week runs from 28th March to 3rd April and in celebration we have written a blog post looking at the support and services available for autistic adults in Devon: Making connections: Groups and support for autistic adults in Devon

We have a couple of new Profiles of Associational Life here on our website, these are essential reading if you live, work or have any interest in the following places: Ottery St Mary and Okehampton. You can view all our other published PALs here.
