Last week we hosted an event to celebrate the impact of more than £2m in funding for Devon’s community groups during 2024/25.
Our Celebration Evening, held at Huntsham Court Country House, was an opportunity to thank the donors who made this funding possible, and to hear from community groups about the difference they are making.
We also launched our Annual Review 2024/25 at the event. The report showcases some of the hundreds of grants we made during the year, and the work they supported. And it highlights how our insight and learning is helping to inform and shape the voluntary sector in Devon.
Mary Hancock, our CEO, said: “As our Annual Review demonstrates, Devon’s voluntary and charitable sector is vital to building community resilience. Our event last week was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our county’s amazing community groups and the generous donors who help to make their work possible.”
The Celebration Evening was generously supported by Sarasin & Partners and the venue was provided for free thanks to the Huntsham Court Charitable Trust.
