Are you passionate about making a difference in Devon’s communities? Devon Community Foundation is seeking a Trustee (Chair of the Finance & Governance Committee) to join our Board of Trustees.
Unpaid role, reasonable expenses will be paid
This vital role combines strategic financial oversight with governance responsibilities, providing an opportunity to apply your financial expertise for the benefit of local communities.
As Chair of the Finance & Governance Committee, you will guide and advise the Board of Trustees in approving and reviewing financial strategy, annual budgets, accounts and investments. And you will advise the Board of the financial implications of their decisions. You will also provide strategic advice to the Foundation’s CEO and Senior Finance Manager.
In addition to attending quarterly Board meetings (with some remote attendance possible), you will naturally attend the Finance & Governance Committee, which also meets four times a year. All trustees are encouraged to help spread the word about the Foundation’s work, including through networking opportunities at our events.
