Renewable energy and land or property development firms often make charitable investments in the communities where they work through Community Benefit Funds.
In this case, in 2016 Babeleigh Barton Community Benefit Fund was set up by a husband and wife to redistribute the income from wind turbines on their farm in North Devon to their local parish of Parkham.
It is administered and looked after by Devon Community Foundation.
