WORKING WITH THE CLARE MILNE TRUST

Through collaborative funding delivered by Devon Community Foundation and The Clare Milne Trust, grants of up to £5,000 are awarded to organisations that provide vital services, opportunities and support for disabled people of all ages throughout Devon. Reflecting on the latest round of grant giving, Kevin Underwood, of The Clare Milne Trust highlights the value of this joint approach:  
“As one of the largest counties in England, Devon’s dispersed and varied communities create a landscape of often hidden, complex needs. Our trustees are unwavering in their determination to maximise the impact ofour grant funding across Devon, and working in partnership with Devon Community Foundation enables us to distribute these grants to
 strengthen support for disabled people of all ages. This joint approach brings deep local knowledge and trusted relationships with organisations and communities. It is also intentionally collaborative, built on shared learning, careful stewardship of charitable funds and a clear focus on improving outcomes for people living with disabilities. Larger grants may be available directly from The Clare Milne Trust for organisations seeking more substantial funding”.
