Winter Support Grants
Does your organisation provide emergency food support for families in Devon?
Would you benefit from additional funding over the winter period to reach more people?
Thanks to a new partnership we're forming with Devon County Council we are currently offering grants to organisations working to address food poverty, to run alongside the government’s recently announced winter food voucher scheme for families.
We know that not everybody in need of food at this time is either eligible, or able to take up this recent initiative, so we’re offering the community groups and small charities in Devon that we know can support them, an opportunity to be able to so.
This immediate funding is just a small part of a much wider, more detailed and longer-term food support programme we are undertaking with DCC across Devon that we hope will ultimately lead to more people that are currently experiencing sustained hunger being able to more easily access nutritious food and sustainable support.
In order for us to learn as much as we can to inform how we make this vital work possible we would like to kindly ask for your help in shaping our next steps. Please spare ten minutes to tell us about the challenges and opportunities of food provision in your area, tell us where support is needed going forward, and help us shape the next phase of this programme in the New Year. Thank you.
If you are offering food and related support for vulnerable households with children* over the winter period please read our criteria fully to check your eligibility to apply.
*Priority will be given to work supporting families with children. In exceptional circumstances we will also consider activity that supports other vulnerable groups at this time.
Please only complete our application if you have read our full criteria and are eligible to apply.
