|********** GRANTS NEWS December 2019 **********|
We’re excited to let you know that in the new year DCF will be reviewing the way it deals with grants. We’ve listened to our applicants and as a result we’re aiming to make the whole process simpler, give decisions faster and put more focus on funding core costs.
In order for our busy Grants Team to get all this done they will be taking a break from normal grant making until a brand new procedure launches in the autumn of 2020 in line with our new and improved website.
We are now closed for new applications.

Devon Community Foundation manages a number of funds which are for the benefit of individuals.
The Devonian Fund helps groups or individuals to alleviate mobility issues in relation to disability or ill-health. This fund aims to help people overcome or relieve mobility problems, such as contributing towards the cost equipment that significantly improves individuals' quality of life. It can also help with specialised transport needs, such as accessible coaches or taxis. The average grant for individuals is between £500 - £1,000.
Individuals are unable to apply directly to the Foundation; instead a Health Care Professional such as an Occupational Therapist, or group working with the individual can apply on their behalf, as an application referee.
Tiverton Educational Foundation
The Tiverton Educational Fund supports groups and individuals working to encourage education in Tiverton and the surrounding area. Funding is available for individuals experiencing hardship or in need of extra support and training. The maximum grant available for Individuals is £1,000.
Individuals are unable to apply directly to the Foundation; instead an independent/unrelated referee can apply on their behalf.
