Research over recent years has shown that there are opportunities for mission-led organisations to grow by accessing sustainable finance. However, for many who want to take this route there can be a number of barriers such as culture, capacity and communication. To address these challenges, we’ve expanded the range of ways in which we can help, and we’re delighted to now be able to offer two new ways for you to get financial sustainability and social investment support from Devon Community Foundation and our partners.
Enhance Social Enterprise
Enhance Social Enterprise (ESE) supports social enterprises and social entrepreneurs in Plymouth, Torbay, Devon and Somerset. We help mission-led organisations access high-quality business advice and development support as part of a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded project.
Social enterprises and social entrepreneurs are supported to develop sustainable growth strategies, launch new products and services, enter new markets and move towards finding new investment. Eligible participants can receive up to 12 hours of free tailored business support from a range of partners until Dec 2019.
As a project partner, Devon Community Foundation works closely with organisations to help them identify how their financial sustainability can be secured for the long term, enabling them to consider accessing financial investment from a variety of sources, including the Devon Social Investment Fund.
